This is a poem I wrote in 2007 when I was just 13 years old. It tells the story of a girl who gave herself away too early in life to a boy who didn't truly love her. I know most don't like to talk about how teens engage in sex at a young age, but it happens. If I could give any advice to a teen girl or boy, I would definitely say wait. Because that is something special to be shared between a wife and husband only. Virginity and innocence are not something you can get back once you give it away. Choose abstinence. It truly is worth it to wait until marriage.
My Best Friend's Pain
Aching with pain, crying inside. Searching for attention, she found it in one guy. Her mother was at work, and she was at home. He just happens to come over and everything went wrong. She started with one kiss and ended with another. Then she made her way below the waist, and they became each other. As the hours passed, she thought it was a dream. Turns out she was wrong it was reality. After it was over, she still felt bad because she knew her happiness wouldn't last long because it would end when he was gone. Now you know how she feels, and you know her shame. This is all of my best friend's pain.
