If Life Were a Game

Just another silly poem written by 13-year-old me about young love. It's silly how "in love" we really think we are when being young.

If Life Were a Game

If I could pick a game for life to be I'd pick the game tag just for you and me. It's fun it's easy we'd play it all day. We'd laugh and get tired and in the grass we'd lay. We'd shoot for the stars and walk by the moonlight and hold hands and kiss until midnight. Then later on we'd go to the park, and you'd drop to one knee and my heart would almost stop. You'll open a tiny box and in it will be a ring. You'll then say, "Will you marry me?" I'll walk down the aisle with you at the end waiting. When I get there, I'll tag you and you'll be it. Later we'll have kids and they'll soon be our age when we played life. If life were a game.
